The Cardinal Warrior is another installation from our Animals & Humans collection. Rather than having one attack the other, this time we've melded animal and human into one. The inspiration for this design began when I was flipping through some vintage photos of Native American war headdresses. During my research I bumped into artist Ruben Ireland and immediately fell in love with his portfolio. I reached out to him and was thrilled when he accepted the job. Our partnership couldn't have been easier. Within three drafts Ruben cranked out the job and I couldn't be more pleased with the result.
