The Rhino Hunter is my response to animal poaching. When I was on safari in
South Africa a couple years back, I couldn't understand why there was a
giant cage in the middle of the desert filled with rhinos. The tour
guide told us that people fly over to this location and then they
release a rhino from the cage. After it gets a couple hundred yards out,
the customer shoots the rhino and takes the tusks back with him to tell
his friends that he shot it on the run. This was so lame that I had to
make a piece as a response to this cruelty...
It's a 16"x20" stretched canvas. It's printed on a bright white, fine poly-cotton blend, matte canvas using latest generation Epson archival inks. Individually trimmed and hand stretched museum wrap over 1-1/2" deep wood stretcher bars. Includes wall hanging hardware.
