I'm Darren Pearson, some people call me Darius Twin. I grew up in San Diego, CA. I love skateboarding!!! I'd do it all the time if I didn't get hurt. http://youtube.com/watch?v=tkrZbZwEEFU I also love making art.. it doesn't really matter what medium, lately doing it on computers makes me the most money, so I do that the most often. (www.flickr.com/photos/dariustwin I love music. Going to shows and making music with friends is a killer way of getting out and enjoying life. If I didn't have music, I would certainly go insane. It keeps me interested and helps me come to terns with my moods whether they be happy, sad, introspective, angry, or hyperactive. http://hypem.com/dariustwin My design background is as follows: worked as a cartoonist for my college newspaper at UC Santa Cruz (GO BANANA SLUGS). After college, got a job doing shirts for different bands at bandmerch.com. Then…worked as a production artist at a company in downtown LA doing everything from color separations, to graphics, to fixing printers and broke-ass computers. And then…worked at AG/Big Star jeans doing pocket embroideries and a mens t-shirt line. Also started my own company www.dariustwin.com and did freelance for about a year until I desperately needed money and decided to work for Levi's doing young women's graphic tees.. Now I work for Guess Jeans… I get around. It's hard for me to pin down what exactly influences me.. I'd say for starters, street art.. Los Angeles has some amazing stuff. That and the internet, it's all there if you know what you're looking for. Bands, artists, dinosaurs, places, foreign cultures.. I'd say the biggest influence would probably be my own curiosity.. I hope I never lose that. I've been super into light painting recently, that's my new way of confusing people.
