Bart Van de Vel Bart Van de Vel was born in 1980, the same year Lennon got shot. He grew up in the theatre somewhere in Europe, doing gigs from the age of six. When he wasn't acting he'd be sitting silently in a corner with pad& pen or book. At sixteen he left the company & started to study art until he graduated from the Antwerp Royal Academy for Fine Arts almost ten years later. Right now he holds a crummy job in retail while spending his free time drawing. Van de Vel has no clear personal style but rather enjoys trying out different styles instead of pinning himself down on just one.
